Leaders Ivanhoe A beat Belmont A 6 – 2 in the Just Wood Premier Division .Ian Rennocks grabbed a 46 break to level his match and Anthony Moore made breaks of 37 and 53 taking both his frames. Burton Cons A had a sterner than expected test against Rileys A with Owen Jones making the difference taking both frames. Matt Milnes lost his 100% record dropping a frame to Mark King as the match finished 5 – 3. Wayne Periera was the star man for Willington A sinking a 60 break against Stapenhill A. Dave Shentons 36 was some consolation for the Swans in their 6 – 2 defeat. Simon Orpwood helped South Derbyshire Snooker Centre B to a 5 – 3 win over Ivanhoe B securing both of his frames. Swad Cons A’s Richard Brown made a 35 break as his side drew with South Derbyshire Snooker Centre A. Newhall A got the breaks they deserved with Fran McInulty 40, Adam McInulty 38 and Wayne Brewin 37. Tutbury A losing out 5-3. Burton Cons C picked up their second win of the David Wain Insurance Division 1 season with a convincing 7-1 scoreline against Alrewas A. Three black ball games in the match between Belmont B and Rileys D went in the favour of the Swad side. Gary Mayne took away Rich Goldby’s 100% record, clearing the last 3 colours and potting a brilliant black. Belmont 6 – 2 winners. Leaders Rileys C bagged 7 frames against Swad Cons B. Scott Gee the only Swad player to take a frame. Burton Cons B moved ahead of their combatants, South Derbyshire Snooker Centre C in the table with a 5 – 3 win. Ben Mansfield and Carl White took all their frames for South Derbyshire Snooker Centre D. Burton Cons D losing 6- 2. Ivanhoe C leap frogged Drakelow A with their 6 – 2 win. Michael Flanagan had three breaks in the thirties as Leaders of Rileys division 2, Rileys E, took all eight frames against Tutbury C. Woodville Sports & Social A kept in second place with a 6-2 win away at Alrewas B. Rolleston A had an important win against promotion rivals Belmont C 5-3. Newhall C potted 7 of the available frames against Stapenhiil C. Lee Cookes 31 break and two frame wins for Rolleston B was not enough as Swad Cons C took the result 5 – 3. Stapenhill B hit Newhall B for seven with Mick Comley man of the match. Woodville Sports & Social B rattled in a quick fire 7 frames against a shell shocked Swad Cons D.
