Bill Stewart was also in good from as he defeated Dave Tewkesbury. The games between Matt Tewkesbury and Daz Lester and then Ray Bancroft and Jan Pawlazcyk both ended all square. The Tutters win was enhanced by the fact that the next seven sides in the division were all unable to repeat that feat, either playing out a draw or suffering defeat.
In second is SDSC B but they only drew with Burton Cons C.Only Adam Harrison was able to score a victory for the Swad side whilst Lee Louch was on form for the Cons as he beat Ben Davies.Wallace Jones drew with wily Tom Egginton and Henry Tomas drew with the Cons’ captain Ian Shrive.
Alrewas B and Newhall A also played out a draw at the Legionnaire’s stadium .This match also had a win a for each team and then two draws. Carl Poulton was the main man for Alrewas by beating Nick Trayford whilst martin Hicks was on target for Newhall inflicting a rare defeat on Ian Hiley. Dave Trueman and Carl Glover were not to be separated as were Adam Walton and Martin Hurdman.

Swad Cons B suffered a 5-3 home reverse to Ivanhoe C with only Adam McNulty on target for the home side defeating George Cawkwell. Gaz Dolman and Graham Measures were on target for the Ashby boys whilst Jerry Cook’s draw with Vice Draper got them over the line for the extra winning point to help Ivanhoe’s relegation fears.
Rolleston C also went down 5-3 at home this time to Stapenhill B who have managed to pull themselves out of the places lined up for the drop. Only Wayne Smith was able to score a 2-0 as he beat Bryan Sherratt. John Sherriff and Greg Britton returned the favour for the Institute in wins of Billy Ashton and Jon Sully whilst Tim Knopik and Tom Lucas drew.
The bottom two sides were not to be divided as Woodville A showed there is still life as they drew for the 5th time in seven matches and Rolleston B were not defeated for the 5th match running. The 4-4 draw though probably didn’t really do either of them much good in their battles to stay up. Bob Brookes and Alan Orpwood were the men on target for Woodville and Lionel Lewis and Rob Sanders were The Rollers star men.
