Minutes from Committee Meeting 24/10/2011

Treasurers Report :- MV showed the accounts at: -

Website :- TC congratulated CW on the updated website and that the committee & league appreciated the work he had done.
CW informed the committee that the changes now allowed for players to see two weeks worth of results and the next two weeks fixtures on the division home page. Write ups are also available on the home page along with articles. To date the response for player photographs has been poor with only four sent in.
The committee also discussed putting score cards and competition sheets & entry online for next season.
Fixtures & Comps :- MV had the competition draws done down to the quarter finals.
Prize Presentation :- Nothing confirmed.
AOB :- DP noted that in a league match (Tutbury B v Burton Cons A), J. Fletcher had complained about the condition of Tutbury’s tables. The committee agreed that this is an amateur league and that the tables would vary from location to location and that any particular venue would be the same for all players. Unless a complaint was put in by a player then the venue would not be approached.
CW said that the darts league had preset dates within the league fixtures for competitions and suggested that the snooker league look into this option. This would be discussed at a future meeting.
