Important Changes

There are some changes to the rules for the new season, that should be taken taken note of.

Mobile Phones

This is now covered in Rule 27.

Match Card

The match card has now been updated and modified to ease the information requirement for the new website. Please note the new format and see the information on correctly filling in the card.

New match card format

First thing to note are the additional boxes for information; Order of play and High break.  Any break over 30 should be recorded and this information will automatically be transferred into the website statistics when results are entered weekly.  The order of play should be updated according to the sequence in which the match has actually been played.  This assists weekly write ups, as the match can be written up more accurately when the order of play is known.

Match Information & Comments should be completed on the rear of the card, we encourage team captains to write comments and information in this section, the more information you can give us, the better the write-up will be!

Are you interested in becoming a Snooker Referee?

If there is sufficient interest, then BDRA would be willing to set up a referee's course.

By taking a grade 3 examination you would help your local association and the sport in general whilst enjoying the benefit of having a qualification recognised throughout the world

If you are interested contact Tony Coleman for more information. Tel: 01283 512715 or Contact Us
